Smart Curtain Robot
User Manual
Product Introduction
SMARAIN’ Smart curtain robot is an intelligent curtain remote controller, with
a solid Bluetooth wireless connection by “Tuya” app, the opening and closing
state of the curtain can be easily controlled from distances. It is designed
to be weight-light and compatible with various shape of curtain tracks for
easy installation. This is an electric powered machine and a wide range of
customized battery capacity you can choose. More additional, as for the
customized functions, the closing and opening percentage of the curtain can be
set through the controller and attached with a voice control function.
- Drive wheel: the main control that drives the operation of the curtain machine. It can adjust the three gears, large, medium and small, according to the demand.
- Hook: directly installed to the track, or with the Roman pole pendant.
- Hook holding adjustment knob: turn right to hold the hook, and turn left to release the hook. The drive wheel of the curtain robot is tightly attached to the curtain rod through the mechanism inside the curtain robot to ensure that the curtain partner can operate normally on the curtain rod.

**Charging
**
There will be 3 short beeps in sequence when the battery is low.
When the low battery is reminded (the buzzer beeps 3 short times), please
charge the curtain robot in time. The charging steps are as follows:
Using a USB charging cable, insert one end of the Type-C plug into the
charging port on the curtain robot, and plug the other end into the adapter to
charge.
Tip: When the red light goes out, it means the charging is complete. Please
fully charge the battery before installing the product.

Product User Guide
When using this product for the first time, please follow the guide steps
below to use the device.
Connect to Tuya APP
Scan the QR code, download and install Tuya APP. This product has been
connected to Tuya ecology and can be controlled through Tuya
APP.https://smartapp.tuya.com/tuyasmart
Open the Tuya APP homepage, click “+” in the upper right corner of the page,
and select “Add Device”. Press and hold the product setting button for 5
seconds to turn on the product (the blue light of the host flashes quickly),
wait for “discovery device”, confirm “add” and wait for the blue light of the
automatically added “complete” host to stop flashing, that is, the connection
with the APP is completed.
Note: Please set the travel after the product is accurately
installed on the curtain rod.
Tip: Due to the upgrade and update of Tuya APP, the actual operation may
be slightly different from the above description. Please follow the
instructions in the current APP.
Notes for multi-device users
If you have purchased two or more curtain robots, please connect all curtain
robots to Tuya APP before proceeding to the next step of installation.
Product installation requirements
Description of Roman Rod Curtain Types
Pass-through curtain fabric
If used for pass-through curtain fabric, the shortest
distance between two adjacent Roman circles should be greater than
64mm.
Hang-through
cord fabric
If used for
hang-through cord fabric, the thickness of the hanging ring should be greater
than 4mm
The diameter of the Roman rod should be between 22-35mm, or the circumference
should be between 69-110mm, whichever satisfies one of the two.

Rail version curtain type description
U-rail installation requirements
The bottom surface of the U-shaped track should be flat and smooth, and there
should be no protrusions. There should be heads on both sides of the track and
keep it tight.
I-rail
installation requirements
The bottom surface of the industrial safety rail should be flat and smooth,
and the width of the bottom surface should be greater than 10MM.
Lifting wheel height requirements
The distance from the bottom surface of the hanging ring of the track hanging
wheel to the bottom surface of the track should be straight between 16MM and
25MM.
Instructions
for the special-shaped track
For U-shaped: I-shaped track: The intelligent curtain robot supports straight
and special-shaped tracks. For special-shaped or arc-shaped tracks, the
following conditions must be met at the turning point:

Product Installation
Safety tips: If the curtain track rod is too high, it is recommended to have a
ladder for installation. Please carefully pay attention to the safety issues
before or during the installation operations.
Tips : The opening and closing percentage of the curtain, as well as
kinds of timers can be set through the “Tuya” app. Moreover, there are wide
variety customer designed functions waiting to be explored.
Roman rod installation method
Single open curtain (only need to install one curtain companion)
1. Break apart the standard Roman rod hanger, hang it between the first and
second hanging rings (or Roman rings) on the movable side of the curtain, and
pinch the four legs of the hanger;Squeeze the two sides of the hanging ring
and pull it apart with a little force, hold the hole of the hanging ring, and
hear a “click”. Pinch the sides of the hanging ring and break it outward with
a little force

2. Turn the bottom knob of the curtain robot host to the left, release the
hook to the longest position, and hang it in the two hanging rings of the
Roman pole hanger. Then adjust the bottom knob to the right to tighten the
hook. Tip: The adjustment of the bottom knob is related to the strength of the
roller and the rail. If the adjustment is too loose, the roller may slip on
the track. Tightness adjustment skills: first, let the roller contact the
track. When the host moves left and right, the roller will follow. Second,
tighten 6-10 circles (360 degrees), depending on the weight of the curtain.
The weight of the curtain is 10kg, about 10 circles.
Install clips and leash (for pass-through cords)
Keep the curtains in a
closed state, evenly distribute the fold spacing, clamp the fixing clips in
the same direction to the folds on the curtains. Then fix one end of the traction belt on the
Roman pole frame with a restraining strap, and then straighten the traction
belt and fix it on the fixing clip in turn. As shown in the photo below, the
traction line bypasses the Roman pole frame and is fastened with a restraining
strap, and the tail of the restraining strap is cut off.

For the “U” type track version, a track guide cover needs to be installed to
ensure that the roller of the curtain robot will not deviate from the track.
As shown in the figure, first tear off 1/3 of the protective layer of 3M
double-sided adhesive tape on the inside of the guide cover (as shown in
Figure 1). Then put the track guide cover on the head of the curtain robot,
and install the two locating columns on the inside of the guide cover in the
two locating holes on the back of the robot (as shown in Figure 2). After the
guide cover is installed in place, the front and rear sides are leveled, the
protective layer of 3M double-sided adhesive tape is pulled off, and the
protective cover and the robot are pressed together.
U-shaped / I-shaped track
installation method
1. Rotate the bottom knob of the curtain robot host to the left, release the
hook to the longest position, and close the curtain.
Hang the curtain robot on the first and second lifting wheels on the movable
side of the curtain (as shown in the figure). Then adjust the bottom knob to
the right to tighten the hook.
Tip: To adjust the tightness of the bottom
knob, first tighten the knob until it cannot be twisted, and then turn it back
1.5 turns to the left. Tip: If there are extra hanging wheels on the track,
please place the extra hanging hangers of the two hanging wheels between the
first and second hooks of the curtain, and hang the curtain robot on it.
Double curtains (two curtain robots are required at this time)
When the curtains on both sides are completely closed, refer to the
installation method of single-opening curtains, and install the two curtain
partners in the positions shown in the figure below.

Travel Setting
To ensure the normal use of the product, it is necessary to set the travel

·When the curtain robot is connected to the Tuya APP, open the Tuya APP, enter
the curtain robot page, and select the “Settings” button at the bottom. After
entering, you can see the function options such as “automatic travel setting”
and “manual travel setting”. It is recommended to use “automatic travel
setting”.

setting” — “Confirm” The original travel setting will be cleared — By
controlling the “Left”, “Pause” and “Right” buttons, the curtain robot will
run to the curtain closed state, and select the corresponding confirmation
button “Close” — By controlling the “Left”, “Pause” and “Right” buttons, the
curtain robot will run to the curtain open state, and select the corresponding
confirmation button “Open” – “Confirm” to complete the setting.
Select “Automatic travel setting” — “Confirm” the original travel
setting will be cleared — then the curtain robot will automatically run to one
end of the track, (Note that if the curtain robot has been slipping at the end
of the track, it means that the curtain robot is not tight enough with the
track. Please tighten the knob at the bottom.
Double Curtain
1. Pull the left and right curtains to the fully closed state, and install
the two curtain companions on the Roman poles according to the installation
method of the single-opening curtains;
2.Set the travel of the left and right
curtain partners respectively according to the travel setting method of the
single curtain.

Open the APP and click “Create scene”, “One click execution”, and click
the”+”, click “one key execution”, “execution”, “operation equipment”, select
“one equipment”, select “setting control”, and select “Open”, click “Save”,
and click “Next”; Then click the “+” next to the execution, and then click the
“operation equipment” to select “Another device”, select “Device control”,
select “Open”, click “Save”, click “Next”, and then go to “Save”Deposit “; A
pair of curtain “open” buttons are created successfully. In the same way, the
“open” option above is replaced by the “close” option Item, you can create a
set of “Close” buttons.
Functions
Introduction of remote control
The curtain can be remotely controlled without opening the App in the mobile
phone. The remote control can control the single curtain, or the two curtain
robots synchronously.
Pair With Curtain Robot
Press and hold the curtain robot button for 3 seconds, and the blue light will
stay on. At this time, press the Open Curtain button on the remote control,
and the blue light of the host goes out, indicating that the pairing is
successful. (A picture of a host pressing the button and a picture of a remote
controller pressing “Open the curtain”)
Channel Switching
The remote control can control two curtain robots together at the same time.
Press “CH” to switch channels, the channel indicator will light up “blue”,
“red” or “blue-red” . And “Blue” means channel 1, “red” means channel 2,
“blue-red” means channel 1 and 2 are working at the same time. Once the user
has paired the curtain robot with the “blue” or red channel, the corresponding
curtain robot can be controlled by selecting these channels.
Power selection
This robot set has three main power levels: “Low”, “Medium” and “High”,
referring the speed or the strength of the machine. It is set to be “Low” as
the default mode and can be switched though the smartphone app or the attached
controller. Please be aware there is a the increase of noise when it is
switched to the “High Power” mode.
Hand pull smart assistance
It can automatically open or close the curtain if there is gentle pulling
force applying to the curtain, easy and smart.
Timing control
Two sets of timed switch curtains can be set, for example, the curtains can be
closed at 11.00 in the evening, and the curtains can be opened at 7.00 in the
Operating procedures:
Turn on the timer switch and select the number of days to cycle. For example,
the curtains will be opened automatically at 7:00 am from Monday to Friday,
then we will light up 1.2.3.4.5. Adjust the curtain closing percentage to the
leftmost “open” position, and adjust the time setting to 7:00. Click “OK” to
complete the setting.
Voice Control
“Alexa, open the curtains” is used in conjunction with Tuya Gateway to realize
voice control. Currently, it supports Alexa, Google, Siri, Xiaoai, Tmall
Genie, and Xiaodu voice control. For voice control, you need to prepare a
corresponding brand of voice speakers in advance. For the specific network
distribution method, click “Edit” in the upper right corner of the APP curtain
control interface to view common problems.

Процесс подключения
Сначала требуется установить на телефон фирменную программу Mi Home Датчики для умного дома Xiaomi.После ее открытия следует зайти в «Мои устройства», где выбрать тот вариант шлюза Сяоми, который вами используется. Во вкладке «Оборудование» выбирает Aqara Controller, после чего нужно выполнять те действия, которые будут предлагаться системой.
Обратите внимание, что предварительно надо нажать на кнопку сброса контроллера. Она должна удерживаться в течение 5 секунд, что приведет к миганию индикатора беспроводной технологии Bluetooth.
О том, что контроллер Ксиаоми находится в активном состоянии, демонстрирует постоянное свечение светодиода. Если он мигнул один раз, то это свидетельствует о том, что устройство включилось. В процессе подключения светодиодный элемент будет быстро мигать. При медленном мигании следует проверить состояние подключения к сети.
Обратите внимание, что модель рассчитана на весовые нагрузки максимум 50 кг. Она может работать в температурном диапазоне от -20 до +55°С.
Правила использования
В нижней части основного меню приложения Ми Хоум находятся кнопки, которые отвечают за закрытие/открытие штор, постановки на паузу. Есть также ползунок, с помощью которого можно регулировать ширину открытия.
Когда шторы открываются первый раз, то в автоматическом режиме осуществляется определение длины карниза, т.е. происходит его медленное движение до края. Это позволяет откалибровать карниз с учетом особенностей геометрии помещения, а движение штор у его края будет более медленным.
При необходимости можно сделать сброс настроек, например, если вы демонтировали девайс и установили его в другой комнате. Для этого требуется зайти в дополнительное меню, где выбрать Use help, а затем Quick start guide. Тут следует выбрать пункт №4, а затем кликнуть по Clear stroke.
Бывает так, что если нажать на кнопку открытия, то происходит закрытие занавесок. Это означает, что включена настройка Reverse. Выключается она через третий подпункт инструкции.
Предусмотрено 5 вариантов сценариев: это открыть, закрыть, открыть/закрыть, остановить, выбрать процент открытия.
Девайс может синхронизироваться с дистанционным выключателем, датчиком движения, датчиком открытия/закрытия дверей и иными гаджетами, которые входят в систему умного дома. А значит, можно настраивать разнообразные сценарии с гаджетами.
Преимущество модели заключается еще и в поддержке голосового управления, для чего используется Умный дом «Яндекс» с голосовым помощником Алисой и в Apple HomeKit с помощницей Siri.
Как сделать обычные шторы и занавески умными

Что такое умные шторы
Это занавески, которыми можно управлять удалённо: со смартфона, через голосового помощника или другой умный прибор. Владелец может добавлять такие шторы в сценарии работы всего умного дома, например чтобы за 5 минут до пробуждения не только открывались занавески, но также чайник начинал греть воду, а умная кормушка выдавала животным еду.
Если шторами можно управлять исключительно с пульта или настенного переключателя, то они считаются автоматическими, но не умными.
Из чего состоят умные шторы
Здесь всё немного парадоксально: обустройство умных штор затрагивает буквально всё, кроме собственно штор. Занавески в моторизации никак не участвуют и могут быть практически любыми. А вот что участвует.
- Мотор — он же привод. Именно он отвечает за движение крючков со шторами по рельсам или направляющим карниза. Существуют как проводные, так и аккумуляторные версии. Первые шустрее срабатывают и дешевле, но под них нужно продумывать розетку ещё на этапе ремонта: она должна быть на стене под потолком.
- Карниз — иногда идёт в комплекте с электромотором, но чаще докупается отдельно. Помимо усиленной конструкции отличается от обычного наличием ремня привода и коннектором для подключения мотора. Совместимые приводы обычно указываются в описании карниза: разъём подключения не универсальный. При выборе длины учитывайте, что даже при монтаже во всю стену нужны установочные зазоры по 2 см с каждой стороны.
- Хаб — он же шлюз. Это связующий элемент умного дома, позволяющий «подружить» разные устройства и заставить их работать в связке. Некоторые моторы могут подключаться к приложениям умного дома напрямую. Также шлюзом могут выступать некоторые колонки «Яндекса». О том, что это вполне работает, покупатели упоминают в отзывах на маркетплейсах. При этом на момент написания этого материала в совместимых Zigbee-устройств нет ни одной модели электроприводов для штор. В общем, можно попробовать подключиться через «Станцию», но сильно надеяться сэкономить на хабе не стоит.
Это стандартная связка, хотя возможны и упрощения: в отдельных случаях можно обойтись без специального карниза или хаба.

Как управлять умными шторами
После установки карниза и привода шторы станут автоматическими, но не умными. Чтобы настраивать сценарии работы и прописывать взаимодействие с умным домом, нужно подключить их к приложению. Оно есть у большинства производителей, но предлагаемые функции от малоизвестных китайских брендов обычно максимально простые: открыть или закрыть, настроить работу по таймеру.
Большинство приводов для штор не имеет собственного модуля Wi-Fi и полагается на протокол Zigbee 3 для подключения к другим устройствам. Соответственно, для их интеграции в системы умного дома Mi Home, Aqara Home, «Яндекс» или Apple HomeKit понадобится хаб с поддержкой этого протокола.
Zigbee — один из самых распространённых стандартов, на нём работают многие современные устройства. Технически он универсальный и должен «дружить» гаджеты разных производителей, но некоторые бренды искусственно ограничивают совместимость. Например, устройства Aqara будут требовать шлюз Zigbee обязательно от того же бренда.
Если вы начали собирать умный дом со штор, лучше выбирать привод и шлюз от одного производителя, если хаб уже есть — проверьте, что выбранный привод с ним совместим. Карниз, как уже упоминалось, подбирается под модель привода, протоколов связи в нём нет.
После интеграции в умный дом через Zigbee шторами можно будет управлять через выбранное приложение и голосовых ассистентов. С поддержкой «Алисы», «Google Ассистента» и Alexa от Amazon проблем нет практически у любых шлюзов и приводов, а вот с Siri и HomeKit дружат далеко не все модели. Из плюсов: не все гаджеты под Apple стоят как крыло от самолёта, такие решения бывают довольно бюджетными. Главное — проверять заранее, если управление через Siri принципиально.
Как сделать шторы умными
Как это часто бывает с решениями для умного дома, можно пойти двумя путями: хорошо и удобно в настройке, но дорого, либо в разы дешевле, но не так продуманно и просто. Рассмотрим несколько хороших комбинаций на разный бюджет. Всё можно заказать на «Яндекс Маркете» и AliExpress.
Чтобы не менять карниз: навесной электропривод Xiaomi Mijia Curtain Companion + шлюз
Если желания менять карниз под стандартный привод нет, рассмотрите вариант с подвесным мотором. Это небольшой прибор, который цепляется на существующий карниз в складку между двумя точками крепления занавески и едет в нужную сторону, утягивая штору за собой. Не так изящно, как полноценный привод, но тоже эффективно.
Перед покупкой обратите внимание, что сам привод выпускают в двух версиях: с крючками для треков (они же рельсовые карнизы, штора на них вешается с помощью крючков) или с насадкой для трубчатых карнизов. Во втором случае занавески фиксируются с помощью колец, а привод цепляется между ними.
Учитывайте, что привод повысит нагрузку на карниз, поэтому тот должен быть достаточно прочным. В идеале — металлическим, как и крючки.
Мотор работает от аккумулятора на 6 400 мА·ч, полного заряда хватает примерно на полгода. Для подзарядки используется обычный порт USB‑C.
Для интеграции в систему умного дома Mi Home и подключения к «Алисе» понадобится хаб китайского региона. Глобальной версии этого устройства пока нет, так что это вариант в основном для тех, у кого и так много китайских устройств из экосистемы Xiaomi, либо ничего, кроме штор, добавлять не планируется.

Если китайский Mi Home вам не подходит, альтернативный вариант — сборка от Aqara. Здесь точно та же логика, что и в комплекте от Xiaomi, но сама техника для российского рынка. Такая опция дороже, но в России намного популярнее: и из-за доверия к проверенному бренду, и из-за более широкой доступности в магазинах. Как и в случае с Xiaomi, приводы есть в двух вариантах: с креплением на трек или трубчатый карниз.
Такую комбинацию можно добавить в «Дом» Apple (оба упомянутых ниже шлюза его поддерживают).

Учитывайте, что для открытия штор от центра придётся покупать два привода (вне зависимости от производителя).
Под российский Mi Home: умный карниз Yeelight Stitching Track + привод Yeelight Smart Electric Curtain Motor
Это относительно доступное решение из категории «хорошо и просто»: комплект из идеально совместимых карниза и привода, которым не нужен отдельный шлюз, потому что Bluetooth и Wi-Fi уже внутри. Эта связка подключается к Mi Home российского региона и полноценно управляется через «Алису», «Салют» или «Google Ассистента».
На момент написания этого материала альтернатив для Mi Home не китайского региона не существует.
Помимо управления по таймеру, сценарию или голосу доступен и полуручной режим: если коснуться занавески, это активирует мотор, и он сам уведёт её в противоположную сторону. Также к системе можно докупить пульт или настенный переключатель Yeelight на две или три кнопки и через приложение настроить на них нужные положения штор.
Карниз поставляется в виде отдельных фрагментов и креплений для стыков, из которых можно собрать рельс нужной длины (максимум — 3,2 м).
Для большинства пользователей это будет оптимальным выбором из-за сочетания низкой цены и удобства настройки и использования. Да и Yeelight уже давно не ноунейм, а проверенный бренд из экосистемы Xiaomi, которому можно доверять. Учитывайте, что в комплекте нет вилки, необходимой для подключения мотора к розетке. Её нужно докупить и подсоединить самостоятельно.

Под китайский Mi Home: мотор Aqara A1 Curtain Motor + совместимый карниз
Благодаря встроенному модулю Wi-Fi связку на базе Aqara A1 и подходящего карниза можно подключить к Aqara Home или Mi Home китайского региона без шлюза. В комплекте есть Bluetooth-пульт, поддерживается управление через «Алису». Синхронизации с HomeKit или Google Home нет.
Розетка для подключения мотора должна располагаться не ниже 50 см от потолка. Вилки в комплекте нет, её нужно добавлять самостоятельно.
При подборе карниза можно ориентироваться на поддержку модели B1. Им нужны одинаковые карнизы, но B1 более популярна, так что её указывают чаще, чем A1. Есть официальный карниз от Aqara: его можно модифицировать по длине, изгибу и типу крепления (к потолку или стене). Точные параметры нужно отправить продавцу при заказе и указать, будут ли занавески открываться со стороны или от центра. Более бюджетный неофициальный карниз тоже можно кастомизировать.

Можно собрать более бюджетный аналог на базе экосистемы Tuya, тоже с интеграцией в китайский Mi Home и управлением через «Алису». В таком случае не обойтись без шлюза, но даже с ним сделка получается более выгодной. Плюс добавляется поддержка «Google Ассистента».
Длину карниза и тип открывания штор можно выбрать прямо на странице товара, о необходимости изгиба или настенного крепления нужно писать продавцу во время заказа.

Без проводов: Aqara B1 Curtain Motor + совместимый карниз + шлюз
Если розетки возле окна нет, а заморачиваться с переходниками не хочется, за основу стоит взять электропривод Aqara B1 со съёмным аккумулятором. Часто его снимать для подзарядки не придётся: батареи хватает примерно на полгода работы.
Эта модель подороже, но уже с поддержкой Zigbee. С одной стороны, это означает, что придётся докупать шлюз, с другой — можно управлять через Siri и «Google Ассистента».
Как уже упоминалось, у B1 такое же крепление, как у A1, так что карнизы для этих моделей идентичны.

Для тех, у кого жалюзи: привод Tuya или Aqara E1
Можно хорошо сэкономить, если у вас уже установлены жалюзи: их механизм для раскрытия и закрытия можно использовать как основу для автоматизации. Для этого достаточно перебросить петельку нити жалюзи на специальный привод.
Если жалюзи вертикальные, а не горизонтальные, то их можно заменить на обычную штору, просто повесив на те же крючки. Но учитывайте, что карниз и крючки для жалюзи часто не приспособлены для большого веса, поэтому тяжёлую длинную штору вряд ли выдержат. Такой вариант скорее подойдёт для небольших окон с занавесками чуть ниже подоконника.
Хотя на маркетплейсах представлено много таких приводов, по факту есть всего две вариации: однотипные варианты Tuya, которую выпускают разные производители под разными названиями (или вообще без него), но выглядят все примерно идентично, и Aqara E1.
Преимущество версий с Tuya — наличие Bluetooth для подключения и настройки без шлюза. Такая опция подойдёт, если вам достаточно настроить расписание открытия и закрытия. Для синхронизации с Mi Home и голосового управления через «Алису» хаб Tuya всё же необходим, хотя некоторые пользователи в отзывах отмечают, что «Яндекс Станция» смогла подцепить прибор без дополнительного шлюза.
Про Aqara E1 тоже сообщают о работе с «Алисой» из коробки: в качестве шлюза выступает «Яндекс Станция». А вот для интеграции в Aqara Home или Mi Home шлюз всё-таки нужен.
