zur Stromversorgung
Bevor Sie das Gerät an Ihre Stromversorgung anschließen,

achten Sie darauf, dass die auf dem Typenschild angegebene
Netzspannung mit der Ihres Stromnetzes übereinstimmt.
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker nur in die Steckdose, wenn das

Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.
Halten Sie das Netzkabel und das Gerät von Hitze, heißen

Wärmefunktion bestimmt. Damit Sie den gewünschten Erfolg erzielen und
recht lange Freude an Ihrem MEDISANA Fußmassagegerät FM 888
haben, empfehlen wir Ihnen, die nachstehenden Hinweise zum Gebrauch
und zur Pflege sorgfältig zu lesen.
Bitte prüfen Sie zunächst, ob der Lieferumfang vollständig ist und der
Artikel keinerlei Beschädigungen aufweist. Im Zweifelsfalle benutzen Sie

WARNUNG
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Verpackungsfolien nicht in die Hände
von Kindern gelangen. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!
Zu den wichtigen Massagetechniken wie der manuellen
Lymphdrainage und der Reflexzonenmassage gehört Shiatsu, eine
Form der Fingerdruckmassage. Diese in Japan entwickelte Form der
Körpertherapie ist aus der traditionellen chinesischen Massage
hervorgegangen. Durch sanfte Berührungen und wohltuenden Druck
wird die Lebensenergie geweckt und zum Fließen gebracht. Ziel
dieser Massage ist es, sowohl Verspannungen zu lösen als auch
durch optimalen Fluss der Lebensenergie, Körper und Psyche zu
harmonisieren. R

Wofür wird
das Fußmassagegerät
FM 888
verwendet?

Die Füße werden im Alltag stark beansprucht und sind daher für
Muskelschmerzen, -verhärtungen und Verspannungen besonders
anfällig. Mit dem MEDISANA Fußmassagegerät FM 888 können Sie
Ihre Füße verwöhnen und nach einem langen Tag angenehm
entspannen.
Jede Massage kann mit einer Wärmebehandlung kombiniert werden.
Das fördert die Entspannung, aktiviert das Kreislaufsystem und wirkt
angenehm auf die Muskelpartien.
ACHTUNG
Achten Sie darauf, dass die maximale Betriebsdauer von 15
Minuten nicht überschritten wird!
3 Anwendung

3.1
Fußmassage
Stellen Sie das MEDISANA Fußmassagegerät FM 888 kippsicher auf den
Boden vor einen bequemen Stuhl und stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine
Steckdose.
1.
Schalten Sie das Gerät mit dem EIN-/AUS-Schalter ein und setzen
Sie sich entspannt auf den Stuhl. Das Indikationslicht um den EIN-/AUSSchalter leuchtet orange. Stellen Sie die Füße in die Einsätze .

Durch das Einschalten sind automatisch die Wärme, die ShiatsuMassage und die Luftdruckmassage auf jeweils niedriger Intensität
aktiviert. Die jeweiligen Indikationslichter um die Tasten leuchten weiß.
3.
Die Wärme kann über die Taste an- oder ausgeschaltet werden. Ist
die Wärme deaktiviert, erlischt das Indikationslicht um die Taste.
4.
Die Shiatsu-Massage kann während des Betriebs durch Druck auf die
Taste zwischen Dauerbetrieb und Intervallmassage umgeschaltet
werden. Das Indikationslicht um die Taste zeigt die aktuell eingestellte
Betriebsart an: Weiß = Dauerbetrieb, orange = Intervallbetrieb.

Die Luftdruck-Massage kann während des Betriebs durch Druck auf die
Taste zwischen niedriger und hoher Intensität umgeschaltet
werden. Das Indikationslicht um die Taste zeigt die aktuell eingestellte
Intensität an: Weiß = niedrig, orange = hoch.

Nach dem Ende der Massage schalten Sie das Gerät mit dem EIN/AUS-Schalter aus. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

Anwendungsdauer
Generell können Sie sich für eine Massageanwendung ungefähr 10 bis
15 Minuten Zeit nehmen und diese täglich ein- bis zweimal durchführen.

Reparaturbedingungen
Bitte wenden Sie sich im Garantiefall an Ihr Fachgeschäft oder direkt an
die Servicestelle. Sollten Sie das Gerät einschicken müssen, geben Sie
bitte den Defekt an und legen eine Kopie der Kaufquittung bei.
Es gelten dabei die folgenden Garantiebedingungen:
1. Auf MEDISANA Produkte wird ab Verkaufsdatum eine Garantie für 3
Jahre gewährt. Das Verkaufsdatum ist im Garantiefall durch Kauf quittung oder Rechnung nachzuweisen.
2. Mängel infolge von Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern werden innerhalb
der Garantiezeit kostenlos beseitigt.
3. Durch eine Garantieleistung tritt keine Verlängerung der Garantiezeit,
weder für das Gerät noch für ausgewechselte Bauteile, ein.
4. Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind:

MEDISANA. This unit is intended for foot massage with or without heat
function. To ensure that your foot massager FM 888 provides successful
results for a long time, we recommend that you read carefully through the

Shiatsu is a form of pressure massage and one of the most important
massaging techniques along with manual lymphatic drainage and
reflexology.This form of physical therapy was developed in Japan but
stems from traditional Chinese massage. Gentle stroking and
beneficial pressure application techniques are used to awaken life
forces and encourage them to flow through the body. The object of the
massage is to ease tension and optimise the blood flow for a better

Our feet are under great strain each and every day, making them
especially vulnerable to tenseness, muscle pains and hardened
muscles. The MEDISANA foot massager FM 888 lets you give your
feet a treat, helping them to relax after a long day.
Each massage can be combined with heat treatment. This promotes
relaxation, improves the blood circulation and has a soothing effect on
the muscles.
CAUTION
Make sure that the maximum operating time of 15 minutes is not
exceeded.

Place the MEDISANA foot massager FM 888 on the floor in front of a
comfortable chair and plug the mains plug into the mains outlet.
1.
Power on the unit by switching on the ON/OFF switch . Sit down in
a comfortable position. The indicator light around the ON/OFF switch
lights up in orange. Put your feet into the inserts .
2.
By switching the device on, the heat, the Shiatsu massage and the air
pressure massage are activated automatically at low intensity. The
indicator lights around the keys light up in white.
3.
The heat may be switched on or off with the key . When the heat
function is deactivated, the respective indicator light goes out.
4.
The operating mode (constant or interval massage) of the Shiatsu
massage may be controlled with the key during operation. The
indicator light shows the actual mode: white light = constant operation;
orange light = interval operation.
5.
The intensity of the air pressure massage may be controlled with the key

during operation. The indicator light shows the set intensity: white

light = low intensity; orange light = high intensity.
6.
At the end of the massage, press the the ON/OFF switch to switch
off the appliance completely and unplug the appliance from the wall
outlet after use.
In general, you can allow approximately 10 to 15 minutes operation for
each massage session, one to two times a day. Make sure the appliance is
cooled down completely before using it again!

5 Warranty
Warranty and
repair terms
Please contact your dealer or the service centre in case of a claim
under the warranty. If you have to return the unit, please enclose a
copy of your receipt and state what the defect is.
The following warranty terms apply:
1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is 3 years from
date of purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the date of
purchase has to be proven by means of the sales receipt or
invoice.
2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free of
charge within the warranty period.
3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either
for the unit or for the replacement parts.
4. The following is excluded under the warranty:
a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g.
non-observance of the user instructions.
b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the
customer or unauthorised third parties.
c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the
